TriMet runs five MAX lines and 94 light rail stations across a 533-square-mile district in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties, carrying 22.8 million MAX rides in FY2025 at an average weekday of 66,813, plus WES commuter rail (one line, five stations, 124,008 rides). Its FY2027 adopted capital improvement programme is $217.1 million against a five-year forecast of $1.74 billion, and the largest single rail line in it is $35.7 million for Type 6 light rail vehicles under a Siemens Mobility contract whose authorised total is $537,419,160.
