TriMet's FY2027 Adopted Budget records that 28 of 30 new Type 6 light rail vehicles were in revenue service as of 1 June and 30 vehicles were on property, and that all Type 1 light rail vehicles have been decommissioned with two donated to community organisations. Execution of the January 2026 modification is stated to be contingent on successful completion of the pre-award Buy America audit then in progress.
