Opening in 2027; the Council will announce the opening day in September 2026 at the Louisiana Avenue station. As of January 2026 construction was over 90 per cent complete with all 16 stations under construction or nearly complete and all of the LRT track in place. In August 2026 the Council reported civil construction nearing completion with final submittals, punch list and contract closeout remaining, systems construction over 90 per cent complete, and systems integration testing active between Target Field and Bryn Mawr stations.
