Contract-modification notice 863710-2025 of December 2025 carries a BT-720 contract value. The tenderers named across the modification series are SIA “RERE BŪVE” and N.V. Besix S.A, and the notice reconciles them with the partnership the implementing body names: its Additional information records that the successful tenderer registered the general partnership “BERERIX” (registration number 44103125226) after the contract was concluded, and that an agreement on the novation of contract EDZL-02-1/54 was concluded in August 2019. In August 2026 the FIDIC engineer supervising the works issued the certificate of completion of the substantial works on the south part of the new station building, the adjoining square and the passenger platforms to the contractor Bererix and to the client Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas; minor fit-out and landscaping continue to the end of 2026. The south part can take full passenger service only once the 1520 mm infrastructure there is finished, which the implementing body plans for the middle of 2028, and the link to the airport station for the end of 2029.
