About this buyer

Design, construction and operation of the tram network, contributing to the diversification of public transport and to the MoDu sustainable-mobility strategy. Line 1 has run complete between the Airport and Cloche d'Or since 2 March 2025; the Luxexpo–Findel section, 3.9 km with the two new stops Héienhaff P+R and Findel-Luxembourg Airport, was authorised for entry into service by the ACF on 28 February 2025 under number LU 60 2025 5001. Luxtram's own figures page gives the line as 16 km with 24 stations, 10 interchange hubs, 33 trams, 3.6 km without overhead contact line and a project cost of EUR 565 million; that page carries no date and does not appear to have been restated for the Findel section, so the two sets of figures are given here as each source publishes them and are not reconciled. The ACF's tram report records 35.2 million passengers in 2025 against 31.7 million in 2024, and 2,003,000 tram-kilometres run against 1,460,000 — the operating offer grew 37 per cent in a year.
