The operator states that it received all 32 units from the manufacturer and put them into service during 2024, and that in 2025 every electrified line was worked by the 32 new 16Ev units, in four-car formations. The contract is not closed: in its 2025 annual report the operator records, as an event after the balance-sheet date, that the deadline was extended for concluding an agreement on the amount of the penalties provided for in connection with delays in delivery of the Ev-16 trains and with claims not remedied in time, that the penalties are planned in 2026 to be attributed to changes in the value of fixed assets in line with the requirements of the Central Finance and Contracting Agency, and that it plans to submit the final payment claims in the first half of 2026.
