LTG states that the signing of the public service contract and the acquisition of new electric trains are expected to raise annual train passengers to 6 million in 2025 and 10 million in 2030, and that the Vilnius–Klaipėda electrification will let new electric trains run on that corridor. LTG Link is one of the three Baltic national carriers — with Elron in Estonia and Vivi in Latvia — behind the joint procurement for Rail Baltica regional rolling stock.
