Delivery of the Divača–Koper second track, which 2TDK describes as “največjega infrastrukturnega projekta v Sloveniji” — the largest infrastructure project in Slovenia — in its news release of 3 July 2025, attributing that recognition to CINEA: 27.1 km of new single track between the Ljubljana–Sežana corridor at Divača and the Port of Koper, with seven tunnels totalling 20.5 km and three viaducts totalling 1,251 m, designed for 160 km/h for passenger trains and 120 km/h for freight at 3 kV DC with ERTMS, 60 E1 rail, predominantly slab track, a maximum gradient of 17 per mille and category D4 axle load. In operation the company is remunerated from the new line's track-access charge, an increased track-access charge and an availability payment from the State. It is also taking the parallel left track — the second tube of the project — through design and environmental documentation.
