MTA's own P3 page records that 'On March 2, 2016, Purple Line Transit Partners (PLTP) were announced as the Concessionaire for the Purple Line'; the Board of Public Works approved the agreement on 6 April 2016 and its Attachment 1 gives the contract's original term as beginning 7 April 2016. The two dates are the announcement and the executed term, not a conflict. After eight Board modifications the term runs to 30 December 2057. It contracts separately with Maryland Transit Solutions, a joint venture of Dragados USA and OHLA USA, for design and construction, and with Purple Line Transit Operators for thirty years of operations and maintenance.
