ReginaNo rail transit; Regina Transit is bus-only. The Global Transportation Hub Authority (Crown corporation) operates an inland port on the CPKC mainline on the city's western edge, with CPKC's own intermodal terminal on site. VIA Rail's Canadian does not stop in Regina — the CPKC transcontinental mainline runs through the city but the long-distance passenger route follows the CN Prairie North Line further north.
SaskatoonNo rail transit; Saskatoon Transit is bus-only and the city's proposed rapid-transit expansion is bus rapid transit (BRT), not rail. VIA Rail's transcontinental Canadian stops at Saskatoon station on the CN Prairie North Line, with further Saskatchewan stops at Biggar, Unity, Watrous and Melville.
