RTD's staff report of May 2026 states that construction on the remaining segments was scheduled to begin, commencing June 2026, and to run 15 to 18 months, with the Downtown Loop midblocks and the Colfax Avenue alignment projected to complete in Q1 2027 and the Welton Street corridor in Q4 2027. That is a schedule: no later RTD document read here records the start, the latest published Rail Operations board briefing being June 2026. Five key intersections were completed in Q3 2024 and the Kalamath Street crossing in Q4 2025.
