Type
State DOT — State department of transportation; its Office of Transit funds and oversees local bus and transit systems and administers Ohio's Amtrak state-supported subsidy. The Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC) is statutorily housed within ODOT for staff support but is governed as its own independent state agency with a separate fifteen-member commission (see b_oh_ordc) — kept as a separate body in this file because it has its own governing board, own domain (rail.ohio.gov) and own grant-award record, distinct from ODOT's Office of Transit.
