A procurement pipeline is a forward plan, not a solicitation, so this is carried as planned rather than open, and the band below is the pipeline’s estimate, not a tender value. The only MERX record for this project is a closed Notice of Intent, ‘Prequalification for the Construction of the Kitchener Central Transit Hub’ (MERX reference 0000306467), published November 2025 and closed November 2025, which said the prequalification document would be issued the week of November 2025 and that ‘The RFP for the construction is anticipated in early 2026’. Neither the prequalification nor the RFP has since appeared on the portal.
